‘Summer Tokens’ explores the theme of memory through the tokens we collect in everyday life. Locks on timeworn doors, wilting flowers emanating their last exhale before autumn, crushed coke cans from long-past summer evenings - these relics form a cosmically nostalgic and sentimental iconography that we carry with us. Inspired by the notion of collecting memories, these everyday tokens offer a tangible sense of continuity, in a world that increasingly dematerialises into an online digital malaise.
